Wife & Husband combo Stephanie and Trevor have always dreamed of owning a restaurant where they can bring together their two passions in life, gourmet food, spirits, and exquisite wines. Once the Napa Riverfront property opened up, they jumped on the opportunity to realize their dream of a space where friends, family, valued neighbors and guests can enjoy the best the valley has to offer. Drawing from their respective backgrounds the restaurant features a massive 4500 bottle wine cellar, 200 unique spirits and a wine collection comparable to other top tier restaurants in the bay area. Prior to owning and operating The Corner in Napa, the couple focused on the growth of their wine business Precision Wine Co. which produces more than 150,000 cases of various wines they distribute across the country and world.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the hospitality business, Stephanie is the driving force of The Corner Napa operations and oversees the marketing, management and vision of the restaurant. She draws a large part of her experience in the Back of House having put herself through California Culinary Academy in San Francisco after deciding to pursue her passion. Upon graduating she quickly progressed through various kitchens upwards to the operations side eventually focusing and growing into sales, management and event coordinating positions for esteemed restaurant groups and hotels. Such as OSI Restaurant Group, Four Seasons Hotel at Beverly Hills, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, and Alan Wong’s Restaurant to name a few.
After spending almost a decade learning, collecting and trading from master winemakers of the Burgundy and Bordeaux regions of France, Trevor wanted to bring his knowledge back to the States and start his own venture. He moved to the Napa valley in 2008, after receiving a Masters of Science in Accounting from SMU in Dallas and began laying the groundwork for his first wine business. In 2009 he began production of 300 cases of Carneros Chardonnay and 100 cases of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and has slowly grown to the current capacity today. Trevor also consults and assists at the California Wine Institute with the technicalities of exporting wines abroad to other countries.
Stephanie and Trevor met 7 years ago during a business gathering in Yountville where Trevor was selling his wines on the property Stephanie was planning events & the rest was history. They got married in 2013, and are currently residing in Northern Napa with their daughter, Brooklyn.
