As general manager for The Corner in Napa, Calif., Brian Kulich brings a seasoned management style to the restaurant with nearly 15 years of experience in the hospitality profession. At The Corner, he is responsible for guest relations, developing the style of service, recruiting, training and managing the service team, and managing a beverage program with more than 1200 bottlings.
Brian recently joined the team at The Corner after having served as the opening service director for Kenzo Restaurant in Napa, which received three-and-a-half stars from Michael Bauer and The San Francisco Chronicle. He also previously served as a senior captain for the three-star Michelin property The Restaurant at Meadowood and director of operations for OSO Sonoma when the restaurant was named one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s Top 100 Restaurants by The San Francisco Chronicle within its first year of business.
Prior to his work experience in the North Bay, Brian worked in San Francisco at some of the city’s most respected restaurants including Prospect, Boulevard and the two-star Michelin restaurant AQUA. In every role Brian has served, he has dedicated himself to learning how to advance to the next level, and doing what it takes to achieve that goal.
Brian is recognized as a Certified Sommelier through The Master Court of Sommeliers and he is currently seeking the Advanced Sommelier certification. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from San Diego State University.
